Hi! I’m Rachelle, the Event Manager at Impact Hub Seattle. I spend my days getting change-makers into the meeting rooms they need to get work DONE! From fundraising receptions for 200, to brainstorming meetings for just 4 — I’ll help you find the right space. With over 700 members and hundreds of other clients, our conference rooms, learning studios, and event space stay bustling and busy with folx committed to positive social change.
My passion project at Impact Hub Seattle is getting to know our unhoused neighbors who live outside our windows. With twenty years of housing advocacy under my belt, my partner and I remain committed to treating humans like humans. During my tenure at Impact Hub, I hope to develop programming that helps others learn the etiquette, mental health first aid, and self-care practices that allow us to stay in the fight to make homelessness “rare, brief, and one time.”*
I returned to my role at at Impact Hub Seattle after taking some time off to tour my first book, Religish: Soulful living in a spiritual but not religious world. In my free time, I’m working on two more manuscripts — a hand-inked Grimoire filled with women’s wisdom, and a collection of essays with other authors around theme “be who you needed when you were younger.” My first book took 8 years to develop — so don’t expect a hardback any time soon! But do come find me for questions about soulcare. I’m happy to help.
